An important part in your journey to finding a therapist is trying to get a feel for them through your research.
One of the strengths in my approach is my ability to generate warmth, friendliness and to put you at ease. Feeling comfortable and confident will help accelerate the therapeutic process.
Underpinning the above is an in-depth understanding of the latest scientific interventions that are proven most effective.
Having trained as a Counsellor I went on to complete a BSc in Psychotherapy and later an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy. Studying research have enabled me to broaden my techniques and develop creative and collaborative approaches that support bespoke client centred approaches.
My primary focus is building positive relationships with clients; enabling them to make the changes they want in as time efficient a way as possible. Many of my clients come to me when other therapy attempts have failed or they have a feeling they were not working with the right approach.
I work with all presenting issues however the most common ones people come to me for are:
- Low Self Esteem
- Social Anxiety
- Depression & Low Mood
- Health Anxiety
- Addiction and Substance misuse
- Panic Attacks and disorders
- Generalised Anxiety
- Relationship Issues
- Dissociative Disorders
- Mood Disorders
- Personality Disorders
